History

One of Lower Hutt's oldest chartered accountancy practices, GCOL has evolved over the last 55 years, serving generations of business people and Wellington families.

The firm traces its history back to 1966 when Leo Gambitsis started the practice that was later to become Manders Gambitsis. In 1989 Tony joined his father in practice and formed Gambitsis Partners.

In April of 2020 the firms name was changed to GCOL, an acronym of Gambitsis and Colleagues to better recognise the strong team supporting Tony.

While acknowledging our roots we look to a future incorporating new software and tools being constantly developed to better serve our clients.

The use of more and more technology has not lessened our commitment to forming strong professional relationships with our clients, understanding their priorities and using our expertise to help people succeed.
